At a glance: Target companies are the employers you want to focus on. Adding one pushes its roles up your Jobs feed (when you sort by Targets), gives you a one‑click Find contacts shortcut on the Network → Targets tab, and groups everything under that company in one place. You can add a target from Network, a company profile, or a job card—and remove it just as quickly.
Add a target
The fastest way is the Targets tab on Network: start typing a company in the picker and select the matching record. We need a confirmed match so we attach the right employer—if you only type free text and nothing is picked, you’ll see a hint to choose from the list. You can also add a target from any company profile page (the heart / target toggle near the top) or from a job’s slide-out panel.
What changes once a company is a target
Three things:
The company carries a Target badge on its job cards in your Jobs feed.
The Targets sort on Jobs pushes roles at target employers to the top.
It appears as a row on Network → Targets with industry, employee count, and city/state when we have them.
Find contacts on a target
Each target row has a Find contacts button. We run discovery against our directory and, on success, expand the row to show recommended contacts at that company plus a count of how many more we have. Already searched? The button switches to Load contacts so you can re-open the expanded list without spending discovery effort twice.
Reveal contacts directly from a target
Contacts under a target row use the same cards as Search and the job people panel—same reveal flow, same role categories, same outreach shortcuts. Use this when you want to prep outreach at a company before any specific role is on your feed.
Open the full company profile
The external-link icon on a target row (and the company name itself) takes you to the company profile—the same page reachable from every company logo across SeeVee. There you’ll find open roles at that company, contacts you already have, and the same target toggle so you can remove a target if you change your mind.
Remove a target
Click the × on the target row, or toggle the target off on the company profile. Removing a target doesn’t delete contacts or threads—it just stops boosting that company on Jobs and removes the row from Targets.
