Getting Applicants to Take Your Interview

Learn how to invite applicants to complete a SeeVee interview using direct links, job pages, or your integrated ATS.

Once you’ve created an interview, the next step is getting people to take it. SeeVee gives you flexible options depending on your workflow and whether you’re using an ATS or managing things manually.

There are three main ways to share your interview:

  • Inbound Link (Job Page) – Applicants apply first, then are invited to take the interview via email.

  • Outbound Link (Direct Interview) – Send applicants a link directly to the interview.

  • Integrated ATS – Automatically invite candidates at a specific stage in your hiring pipeline.

Share a Link: Inbound (Job Page) or Outbound (Direct Interview)

Understanding the difference between the two link types is essential.

  1. To share a link, click the Share button on either the interviews page or the job listing itself.

  2. Select Copy Link to Job Page

Inbound Link (Job Page)

This is also referred to as the Job Page link.

  • When someone visits this link, they’ll apply to your job first

  • After applying, they’ll automatically receive an email invitation to take the SeeVee interview

  • This option is best if:

    • You’re not using an ATS

    • You want all applicants to take an interview by default

    • You want to post a link publicly and manage everything in SeeVee

Outbound Link (Interview Link)

This is a direct link to the interview itself, skipping the job application step.

  • Anyone with this link can go straight into the interview

  • This option is best if:

    • You want to screen applicants manually before inviting them

    • You’re using an ATS that isn’t yet integrated with SeeVee

    • You want to send a direct, personal invitation to specific individuals

Use an Integrated ATS

If you’re using a supported Applicant Tracking System, SeeVee can integrate directly with it.

  • Just set up a dedicated stage in your ATS for the SeeVee Interview

  • When a candidate enters that stage, they’ll automatically be emailed a link to complete the interview

  • This is ideal for teams with established ATS workflows who want everything to run automatically
